How to
get to Fairways-Turnberry

Turn
off the main Glasgow to Stranraer road (A77) at Turnberry
(heading towards Maidens).
After
100 yards turn right at the Post Office car park
Drive
up the small gradient and as the road bends to the right, Fairways
Turnberry is on your left.
We
are only 30 mins from Glasgow Prestwick International
Airport and less than an hour from the ferry ports
of Stranraer and Cairnryan.
Transport
from Glasgow Airport to Turnberry can be arranged through
Glasgow Airport Millennium Taxis
AIR
Airports at Edinburgh, Glasgow and Prestwick are all within a
90 minute drive from the South West Scotland Area. Manchester
and Newcastle Airports are two to three hours south of the region.
FERRY
There are regular ferry services from Ireland into the Southwest
Scotland area. Holland, Norway and Belgium ferry services access
the ports of Newcastle and Hull, and France offers many routes
into various ports in the South of England.
ROAD
Dumfries and Galloway, South West Scotland is the first region
as you cross the border with England Gretna Green. From the south
the M6 delivers you here in no time. From London, we are 6-7 hrs
away, from Manchester or Leeds we are under 3 hrs. From Newcastle,
heading west from Glasgow and Edinburgh heading south we are just
under 2 hours away.
